Chaperones are an important part of the Taft Raider Band family. Without chaperones, TRB students would be unable to travel to any of their performances. Chaperones travel with the band on the buses, sit with the band during the game, care for the band, become a proxy parent to all band kids during events, are always respectful of the students, each other and set the example.

You must be the parent or guardian of a student in the band in order to be a chaperone with a cleared NISD background check. We ask that you be willing to change hats when needed for a variety of tasks whenever called upon (uniforms, roadie help, etc.). Also, keep in line with the expectations set forth by the band directors.

Wear your Taft booster shirt or red Taft shirt and khakis (capris or pants) or jeans and comfortable shoes as you will be standing or walking around quite a bit depending on the event.

If you would like more information about becoming a chaperone, please email: chaperones@taftraiderband.org

Thanks for helping the band "Make It Happen!"
