2005 Marching Season and it was AWESOME!

 

LA JOYA BOA - The Raider Band's success began on Oct 1st as they traveled to La Joya, TX for a Bands of America Regional Competition.  The Raider Band made it into the finals round along with 9 other bands from the group of 20 participants.
William Howard Taft HS broke into the Top 5 for the first time since they began competing in BOA events.

Harlandale Marching Festival - Raider Band continued their successful competition marching season on Oct 8th by winning 1st Place in the 4th Annual Harlandale Marching Festival at Memorial Stadium.  The Raider Band also won awards for Best Brass, Best Drum Majors, and Best Drumline!
