Individual Accomplishments

Two  Raider Twirlers competed at the 2007 UIL Twirling Contest...Lauren B. and Kayle R. received first division ratings advancing to state in May of 2008

Anthony Gu. is selected to the 2007 Region Jazz Ensemble placing second chair on tenor sax and advancing to tape for the All-State Jazz Band

Hornet Marching Festival - The Raider Band began the year on Sept 29th by winning 1st Place at East Central HS during the Hornet Marching Festival.  The Raider Band also received straight Division 1 ratings at the Northside Invitational later the same day!

Capital City Marching Festival, Austin - The Raider Band competed in this contest on Oct 6th.

USSBA Central Texas Regional Contest - Kyle, TX - The Raider Band won 2nd place and Best Percussion at the USSBA Central Texas Regional Contest on Oct 13th.  GREAT JOB RAIDER BAND!!!

UIL - Raider Band received straight Division 1 ratings on Oct 20th during the UIL  Region XI contest at Gus stadium.

USSBA State Championship, Pearland, TX - The Raider Band finished the 2007 contest marching season on Oct 27th at Pearland, TX with a strong performance in a highly competitive field of Group V bands.
