Required Materials
Please reference the following lists for required materials all students should have prior to summer band starting. There are material lists for all members, and specific instruments.
FOR ALL MEMBERS
TRB 1-Gallon Water Jug (to be purchased at Money Night in August). Students should bring a large water jug until then.
Hat, Sunscreen, and Sunglasses.
Running style athletic shoes. High tops and Vans will NOT be acceptable for rehearsal attire.
Yoga mat or towel.
Pencil
Sidewalk Chalk (kept in a sandwich ziplock)
Fanny Pack. Yes- they're in style again!
FOR ALL BRASS, WOODWIND & DRUMLINE MEMBERS
White T-Shirt with minimal markings and extra colors to be worn at every rehearsal.
Athletic gym shorts to be worn at every rehearsal
Instrument
Large instruments such as bass clarinets, tenor/bari saxes, french horns, trombones, euphoniums and tubas are able to be rented from Taft for a one-time fee of $30 at money night. Upper brass and woodwind instruments should be provided by families.
Dot Book- a spiral bound book of note cards to mark drill sets. THIS DOT BOOK IS RECOMMENDED
Long black socks. No logos, no lines, no tint. Solid black.
1-inch 3-ring binder with sheet protectors.
